Account users, roles, and permissions make it easy to work together, manage users, delegate tasks, and control access to different account features.
Available roles
There are currently four roles available:
- Administrator
- Editor
- Finance
- Viewer
User seats
The number of available user seats depends on your plan. The account owner is not counted toward this limit, so each available seat represents one additional user you can add to the account.
Note: A user with a pending invitation still takes up one available user seat. You can revoke the invitation at any time to free up the seat (see below).
User priority
You can assign a priority to each user. This helps keep the most important users active if you switch to a plan with fewer available user seats. If the number of available seats is reduced, users with a higher priority remain active. Users with a lower priority are simply marked as inactive. They are not deleted and can be activated again later.
You can change a user's priority at any time by dragging users into a different order or by editing an individual user. If all available seats are in use and you want to activate an inactive user, you must first deactivate one of the currently active users. You can then activate the user you need.
Inviting users
To add a user to your account, the account owner or an administrator can send an invitation. Simply enter the user's email address and select a role. The user will receive an email with a unique link to accept the invitation. Once the invitation is accepted, the user can access your account according to their assigned role. The account owner or the administrator who sent the invitation will receive a confirmation email.
Invitations are valid for 7 days. After that, they automatically expire and are deleted. You can also revoke an invitation at any time.
Switching accounts
Each user has their own account, which they use to sign in. If a user joins another account in any role, they can switch between their own account and any other accounts they are a member of from the main menu. Users do not need to sign out to switch accounts.
